How Many Musicians Can I Hire?

The sky is the limit! We are available as a soloist, duo, trio, quartet, or chamber orchestra. We also are available to perform as a jazz combo from a jazz soloist to a big band! Contact us to discuss your ideas and how we can make them a reality!

Do you play for events besides weddings?

YES! We are available for your shower, bar/bat mitzvah, proposal, engagement party, cocktail party, birthday celebration, corporate event, holiday party, christening, baby naming, memorial service, religious service, and more!

How far in advance should I book AVIVA Strings?

We suggest booking your event as soon as you have chosen the date, particularly if you have a special piece of music or special request in mind (these can sometimes take time to find or arrange). The average booking window is 8-12 months prior to the event and many of our clients book 14-18 months prior to their date. Having said that, if you DO find yourself in need of a last minute ensemble for an event, please contact us and we will do everything we are able to accommodate you!

Can I choose my music? What are my options?

Absolutely! We encourage you to be part of the music planning process for your event by discussing and selecting music that is special and meaningful to you! This will make your event truly personal and reflective of who you are. We are happy to accommodate almost any special request and custom arrangements are always a possibility. The options are limitless! And if you would like some guidance in selecting the perfect piece of music for your event, we are thrilled to assist as much or as little as you'd like!

What about other instruments besides strings?

We work with a vast network of talented colleagues and professional musicians and would love to arrange for any other instrument (winds, brass, vocalists, percussion, etc.) to perform with us at your event!

Will you travel to my event if it is far away?

Yes, we will! These are some of the areas we serve. This is not a complete list, so if you don't see your event location listed, please contact us!

My brother/sister/friends would like to sing a special song. Can you accompany him/her/them?

Absolutely! If they provide the music, it is no problem performing along with them. And likewise, we are happy to provide your special guest with music or to help them with music selections.
